# Using the Built-in or External Webcam

If your Mac has a built-in camera or if you connect a compatible external webcam, you can use it with Windows by default.

**Note**: OBS Camera and BGRA color model are supported starting from Parallels Desktop for Mac version 20.3.0 and newer.
{% endhint %}

To use a built-in or external camera with Windows:

* Simply open a Windows application that uses a camera, and you should be able to select the iSight or external camera for use with the application.

**Note:** If you are running a guest OS other than Windows 10 or 11, be sure you have USB video device class (UVC) drivers installed.
{% endhint %}

### Disable Camera Sharing

1. Open the Control Center, right-click on the chosen virtual machine, and choose **Configure**.
2. Click **Hardware** and click **Sound & Camera**.
