# Installieren von Windows-Programmen

Auf Ihrem Mac funktioniert die Installation von Windows-Programmen genauso wie auf einem Windows-PC. Die beiden üblichen Vorgehensweisen für die Installation von Anwendungen sind:

* Verwendung eines Installationsdatenträgers
* Herunterladen der Anwendung oder der Installationsdatei über das Internet oder ein Netzwerk

### **Installation einer Anwendung von einer Installations-CD oder -DVD**

1. [Starten Sie Windows](/landing/pdfm-ug/v20-de-de/parallels-desktop-for-mac-20-handbuch/windows-auf-dem-mac-benutzen/erste-schritte/starten-von-windows.md).
2. Legen Sie den Installationsdatenträger ein.
3. In den meisten Fällen öffnet sich ein Dialogfenster zur automatischen Wiedergabe. Klicken Sie auf die Option zum Ausführen einer Setup- oder Installationsdatei und befolgen Sie anschließend die Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm.

### **Installation einer Anwendung über das Internet oder ein Netzwerk**

In den meisten Fällen können Sie entweder die Installationsdatei ausführen und die Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm befolgen oder Sie öffnen einfach das heruntergeladene Programm.
