# Parallels Desktop での Boot Camp の使用
Boot Camp は、Windows で Mac を起動できる macOS の機能です。Boot Camp を使用して Mac に Windows をインストール済みの場合は、以下の 2 つのオプションのいずれかを使用して、Parallels Desktop を Boot Camp で動作するように設定することができます：

* **Parallels Desktop で Boot Camp パーティションから Windows を実行する**: macOS での作業中に動作させた Windows アプリケーションと、Boot Camp を使用して Mac で起動させた Windows アプリケーションでは、双方の Windows アプリケーションで行った変更が互いに影響します。\

**注:** Parallels Desktop は、macOS がインストールされているのと同じディスクで Boot Camp Assistant を使用して作成された Boot Camp をサポートします。\
Boot Camp から Windows を起動する場合の制限事項。
* 一時停止できない

* **Windows とデータを Boot Camp から Parallels Desktop にインポートする**: Windows を Parallels Desktop から実行する場合、上記の制限はありません。Boot Camp と Parallels Desktop はそれぞれ独立しています。macOS での作業中に Windows アプリケーションに加えた変更は、Boot Camp を使用して Windows で Mac を起動したときに反映されません。
Boot Camp から Windows をインポートするとき、Parallels Desktop は .hdd ファイルを作成し、Boot Camp のすべての内容をそこにコピーします。この操作の間、Boot Camp 上の最初の Windows は変更されません。必要なのは、Mac のハードディスク上の十分な空きディスク領域のみです。
### **Windows を Boot Camp パーティションから実行するように Parallels Desktop を設定する**
1. Parallels Desktop を（Applications フォルダーで）開き、**\[ファイル]** > **\[新規]** を選択します。
2. **\[Boot Camp]** をクリックし、画面上の指示に従います。

**注:** Boot Camp を使用して Windows で起動するには、Parallels Desktop で Windows をサスペンドするのではなく、Windows をシャットダウンすることをお勧めします。

### **Windows とデータを、Boot Camp から Parallels Desktop にインポートする**
1. 前述の手順に従って、Boot Camp を使用するように Parallels Desktop を設定します。
2. **コントロールセンター**から Boot Camp バージョンの Windows を右クリック（または Control クリック）し、**\[Boot Camp のインポート]** を選択します。\

**注:** Windows はシャットダウンしている必要があります。
3. **\[インポート]** をクリックします。
4. Windows とデータを保存する場所を指定し、**\[選択]** をクリックします。
Windows とすべてのデータが Boot Camp からインポートされます。Parallels Desktop とは別に、元の Boot Camp の Windows インストールも引き続き使用できます。

**重要:** Boot Camp で Parallels Desktop を使用できるよう設定してから、Windows を初回起動するときに、Windows と macOS とのシームレスな操作を実現する Parallels Tools がインストールされます。Parallels Tools のインストールが完了すると、Windows の再起動を求めるプロンプトが表示されます。

### **Parallels Desktop でディスク領域を節約**
Boot Camp から Parallels Desktop に Windows をインポートし、その後で Boot Camp パーティションを削除することで、Mac でディスク領域を節約できます。次にその仕組みを説明します。
1. たとえば、40 GB の Boot Camp パーティションがあり、20 GB のみが Windows とそのファイルに使用されているとします。その他の 20 GB は使用されていません。
2. Boot Camp のインポートを選択します。Parallels Desktop は Windows とそのすべてのファイルを Boot Camp から新しい仮想マシンにコピーします。この仮想マシンが占有するディスク容量は 20 GB のみです。
3. インポートが完了したら、Boot Camp パーティションを削除すると、20 GB のディスク容量を節約できます。

**注:** 作成される仮想マシンのハードディスクは 20 GB に制限されません。これは容量可変で、引き続きアプリケーションのインストール、ムービーや音楽などのダウンロードを実行できます。ディスクのサイズはそれに比例して大きくなります。たとえば、この仮想マシンに 5 GB のムービーをダウンロードすると、25 GB のディスク容量を占有します。
