# Preferenze di Parallels Desktop e impostazioni della macchina virtuale

Leggi questo capitolo per conoscere le opzioni disponibili nelle Preferenze di Parallels Desktop e nelle impostazioni della macchina virtuale, come queste funzionano e come aggiungere nuovi dispositivi, come ad esempio un disco rigido o un'unità DVD, alla configurazione della macchina virtuale.

Per accedere alle Preferenze di Parallels Desktop, fai clic con il tasto destro sull'icona Parallels Desktop nel Dock e scegli **Preferenze**.

Per accedere alle impostazioni della macchina virtuale, eseguire una delle seguenti azioni:

* Se la macchina virtuale è in esecuzione in modalità Schermo intero o di visualizzazione Finestra, sposta il puntatore del mouse sulla parte superiore dello schermo, fai clic su **Azioni** e scegli **Configura**.<br>
