# Import aus einer älteren Parallels Desktop-Anwendung oder anderen Virtualisierungssoftware

Mit Parallels Desktop für Mac 27 können Sie Windows-Systeme nutzen, die Sie mit früheren Versionen von Parallels Desktop eingerichtet haben. Das Importieren, Konvertieren und Ausführen von zuvor erstellten virtuellen Maschinen aus einer anderen Virtualisierungsanwendung wird jedoch nicht unterstützt.

So importieren Sie eine vorhandene virtuelle Maschine aus Parallels Desktop:

1. Öffnen Sie Parallels Desktop (im Ordner „Programme“) und wählen Sie **Datei** > **Öffnen**.
2. Wählen Sie die Datei der virtuellen Maschine aus, die Sie importieren möchten, klicken Sie dann auf **Öffnen** und befolgen Sie die Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm.

   * Parallels Desktop-Dateien haben die Endung `.pvm`.
   * Komprimierte Dateien virtueller Maschinen von Parallels Desktop haben die Endung `.pvmp`.

   Sie können eine Parallels-Datei auch einfach per Drag & Drop in das **Control Center** ziehen, um sie zu Parallels Desktop hinzuzufügen.
