# Ottieni Windows dall'IT

Affinché Parallels Desktop funzioni, è necessaria una macchina virtuale con un sistema operativo (nella maggior parte dei casi Windows) e alcune applicazioni. Se utilizzi Parallels Desktop per Mac Business/Enterprise Edition, al primo avvio di Parallels Desktop potresti visualizzare la seguente schermata, o una schermata simile.

Significa che il tuo amministratore di sistema ha preparato una macchina virtuale pre-configurata con tutte le app necessarie già installate. Devi solo scaricarla. Fai clic su **Scarica e installa** e segui le istruzioni sullo schermo. Una volta pronta, la macchina virtuale si avvia automaticamente e puoi utilizzare le relative applicazioni.
