Supported providers

Parallels RAS supports hypervisor-based Providers and cloud-based Providers.

Hypervisors

The following hypervisors are supported:

• Microsoft Hyper-V (Windows Server 2016 up to Windows Server 2025)

• Microsoft Hyper-V Failover Cluster (Windows Server 2016 up to Windows Server 2025)

• VMware vCenter 7.x*, 8.0

• VMware ESXi 7.x*, 8.0

• SC//HyperCore 9.4, 9.6

• Nutanix AHV (using Prism Element)** AOS 6.10 LTS, AOS 7.3

• Nutanix AHV (using Prism Central) p.c. 7.3, p.c. 7.5

• Remote PC — This is a special type that allows you to create pools of Remote PCs. See Remote PC pools.

* VMware ends support of vSphere 7 on October 2, 2025. While you can still use this version with Parallels RAS 21, it is recommended to upgrade to vSphere 8.0 or newer to ensure long-term support.

** Nutanix connection via Prism Element is being deprecated by Nutanix in October 2026. Therefore the Provider using Prism Central should be used by all customers moving forward.
