# RD セッションホストタイプ

Parallels RAS v16.5 以降では、以下のタイプの RD セッションホストを作成して RAS ファームに追加できます。

* 個々のサーバー: これには、物理サーバーとして扱われる物理マシンまたは仮想マシンを使用できます。これらのタイプのサーバーを作成する方法については、[**「RD セッションホストを追加する」**](https://download.parallels.com/ras/v19/docs/ja_JP/Parallels-RAS-19-Administrators-Guide/39313.htm)を参照してください。
* RAS 仮想デスクトップインフラストラクチャ（VDI）の一部である、テンプレートから作成された仮想マシン（VM）。VM を使用する主な利点は、単一の RAS テンプレートから必要な数の VM を作成できることです。これらのタイプのサーバーを作成する方法については、[**「テンプレートベースの RD セッションホストを追加する」**](https://download.parallels.com/ras/v19/docs/ja_JP/Parallels-RAS-19-Administrators-Guide/49407.htm)を参照してください。
