# Move Virtual Machine Files

**prlctl move** <*vm\_id* | *vm\_name*> **--dst** <*path*>

Moves the files of a specified virtual machine to a location specified in the **-dst** parameter on the same computer. The command supports moving only stopped and suspended virtual machines.
