About Parallels DaaS

Parallels Cloud is a platform that allows IT organizations and users to use various cloud-based solutions offered by Parallels.

Parallels DaaS is a Parallels-assembled and hosted cloud-based Desktop as a Service (DaaS) solution that provides a virtualization control plane for IT organizations to deploy their virtual workloads, desktops, and applications that can be accessed from any user from any device. It separates the control plane from the data plane, which provides superior security, scalability, and performance.

Parallels DaaS consists of two services:

  • Parallels DaaS Management Portal for managing users and resources

  • Parallels DaaS User Portal for accessing resources

This guide explains how to use Parallels User Portal.

To sign in to Parallels DaaS visit https://daas.parallels.com

Signing in

Parallels DaaS (Desktop as a Service) provides secure, remote desktop access from virtually any device. Whether you're using a web browser or a native client, getting started is quick and easy.

Access via Installed Client (Recommended for Daily Use)

For frequent users, we recommend installing the Windows App on your device. This provides better performance, enhanced features, and a more seamless experience compared to browser-based access.

Benefits of the Installed App:

  • Improved responsiveness and performance

  • Support for features like drive redirection and multi-monitor setups

  • Persistent settings for easier login and configuration

Download the Windows App Client:

Choose the appropriate version for your operating system:

  • Windows: Download from Microsoft Store (alternative download: MSIx)

  • MacOS: Download from the Mac App Store

  • Android/ChromeOS: Download from Google Play Store

  • iOS/IpadOS: Download from the App Store

  • Meta Quest: Download from the Meta Store

For advanced installation options or deployment instructions, see the Parallels DaaS Guide for Administrors.

    • To transfer text from the local computer to the resource, paste the text to the Remote Clipboard window. Once pasted, the text will be automatically stored in the clipboard of the resource.

    • To transfer text from the resource to the local computer, copy the text in the resource the usual way, and it will automatically appear in Remote Clipboard window.

  • Session information.

The location of Session Toolbar depends on the type of the resource:

  • In a desktop, Session Toolbar appears on the right of the screen.

  • In an application, the toolbar action icons are located in the right corner of the taskbar. If the running applications support tray icons, you will also see them there.
