VMWare ESXi Appliance
Requirements:
VMware ESXi 8.0+ and VMware vSphere 8.0+
Steps:
Download the VMWare ESXi, appliance Image from the PBI Management Portal

Login to vSphere client and launch New Virtual Machine wizard

Create a VM using the wizard from above step

Specify a new appliance machine name and select a location

Select an appropriate compute resource

Select a storage as per your organization requirements

Keep the compatibility type as “ESXi 8.0 and later”

Select Guest OS Family as “Linux” and Guest OS Version as “Other 6.x or later Linux (64-bit)”

Set 4 CPUs and 4GB Memory. Remove New Hard disk added by default.

Click on Finish to complete the process.

Once the VM is created, unzip the appliance image, find the VM directory and upload the VMDK files


Edit the VM settings and add Existing Hard Disk and update the Network settings to VMs by clicking on Browse in the drop down.

Select one of the uploaded VMDK files which is visible in the dialog

Once the VM is reconfigured, edit the VM settings again and change the Hard disk 1 size to 36GB

After the changes are applied, boot the VM and wait for the services to be running
